A Sacred Gift from Germany
We are deeply grateful to the Sisters of the Holy Cross (Heilig Kreuz) in Altötting, Germany, for their generous gift of a beautiful monstrance of the Blessed Sacrament to St Ann’s Catholic Church, Kingston Hill.
The monstrance, brought to us by Sr Ursula Eberhard, is a true work of faith and devotion, perfectly fitting for our church and radiant in beauty. It now holds a special place in our parish, especially as we journey together as a pilgrim church in the Jubilee Year 2025.
On Saturday, 8 November, we held a moving Eucharistic Adoration attended by many pilgrims. The presence of the Lord in this new monstrance deeply touched every heart, and the celebration strengthened our faith and unity as a parish family.
We offer our heartfelt thanks and prayers for the Sisters’ kindness and their spiritual bond with our community. Their gift reminds us of the timeless truth that the Eucharist is the heart of our faith – the living presence of Christ among His people.
“Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:20
